9/11 Day of Service Media Results – 2012

Starting on the weekend prior to 9/11 and ending on the 11th anniversary itself, the Orange County community came together in service and remembrance.  Over 1220 volunteers worked on 29 different service projects – ranging from clearing brush to writing cards to planting gardens.  Below is some of the media coverage received on this remarkable effort.

September 29, 2012 – In commemoration of 9/11, OneOC, formerly Volunteer Center Orange County, developed a volunteer program to refurbish and refresh school gardens in Irvine on September 11.
