During one of their national conferences in Laguna Beach, CA, Outerwall employees wanted to further enforce team-building by incorporating a volunteer project into their visit. Outerwall consulted OneOC, and we crafted a Custom Volunteer Project for their team at the Blind Children’s Learning Center in Tustin. Volunteers participated in 5 sensory activities where they engaged 53 students of the Blind children’s Learning Center and experienced life without vision and/or hearing. Volunteers also assembled and personalized 53 art supply bags for students to creatively use for their art projects throughout the year.
