2014 Corporate Combined Volunteer Project

Our second annual Corporate Volunteer Council of Orange County (CVCOC) Corporate Combined Project will take place at the Second Harvest Food Bank on February 22, 2014. Employees from some of Orange County’s biggest companies will unite to sort, label and pack over 6,000 food boxes that will benefit the 400,000 Orange County citizens who are at risk of going hungry.

  • CVCOC Combined Corporate Project Sponsorship

    With your sponsorship, Second Harvest Food Bank will:

    • Coordinate logistics concerning  volunteer project for 400 volunteers
    • Purchase enough food for each volunteer to pack 15 boxes
    • Manage project budget & account payables
    • Write project task instructions and responsibilities
    • Provide ongoing communication with nonprofit agency’s staff and CVCOC members
    • Assign CVCOC member and Second Harvest Food Bank volunteers to project task assignments
    • Purchase  and delivery of project materials/supplies
    • Create and manage a detailed event schedule
    • Conduct team leader training for staff, nonprofit, company and volunteers
    • Complete on-site event facilitation
    • Station experienced volunteer managers/staff onsite
    • Offer event introduction and wrap up presentations
    • Supply event photography
    • Arrange signage needs met for project
    • Confirm required bathroom facilities are available and clean
    • Provide water for volunteers
    • Create online Registration

    With your sponsorship, OneOC will:

    • Develop media management tools (including a press release and a social media outreach toolkit), pitch media, and place a “thank you” ad recognizing sponsors in an Orange County publication
    • Produce online Impact Report and photo sharing link
