Give one day, change the world.
OneOC Days of Service unite individuals, families, service clubs, businesses, schools, and faith-based organizations in volunteerism throughout the year. Join us for one or more signature volunteer events.
Earth Day is celebrated around the world, and OneOC is observing it with volunteer projects that focus on preserving and beautifying Orange County’s environments. Take an active role in preserving natural habitats and making Orange County a cleaner and greener place to live in.
As part of Earth Day, OneOC supports Global Youth Service Day, engaging our youth to improve our communities – this day and every day. Youth friendly volunteer projects will be available for all ages.
A unifying day for Orange County communities to support charitable causes, perform good deeds, engage in service activities, and commit to year-round service. In observance of the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, volunteers will participate in projects supporting our troops, veterans, and disaster preparedness, culminating with our signature event–a community transformation.
Family Volunteer Day
This annual day of service, held through the nation on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, is designed to demonstrate the power families have to support their local communities. Join OneOC instilling the values of service in the next generation and make a difference in Orange County communities. Youth friendly volunteer projects will be available for all ages.
Spirit of Giving
This program empowers Title-1 first-grade students to improve literacy skills while teaching them how they can make a difference in their communities, regardless of their personal circumstances. OneOC provides a Service-Learning curriculum to support teachers, volunteers read stories about giving, and students culminate the program by engaging in volunteer service projects. Each child will be given a book to inspire reading and future giving opportunities.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Now in its 16th year, community members can make their “day off” a “day on” with a Day of Service. Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through meaningful service. This year we will be partnering with multiple local agencies including <b”>Orange County United Way, offering volunteer opportunities that address critical community issues.
