In its 39th year, the Spirit of Volunteerism Award provides the Orange County community the opportunity to recognize individuals and groups for outstanding and innovative volunteer service.
For the last 26 years, the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards has been the venue to announce the Giving is Living Award, celebrating the work of influential organizations, families and business that participate in outstanding community volunteerism.
In 2015, we will be honoring an outstanding Company-Nonprofit partnership that demonstrates how volunteerism can improve our community.
This year, OneOC will send a call for nominations to 50 Service Enterprise-trained organizations, asking them to identify a nonprofit-corporate partnership they feel is most deserving of the Giving is Living Awards.
In February 2015, a selection committee made up of OneOC Board members, noted nonprofit professionals and business leaders carefully will review the nominations and after careful consideration, will select the recipients of the 2015 Giving is Living Award.
This past year’s 2014 Giving is Living Winning partnership was the Home Depot and Habitat for Humanity of Orange County and their program, Veteran’s Build. Click here to learn more about this incredible collaboration.
