This workshop is designed to help you expand your knowledge and develop the skills needed to prepare a winning grant proposal. The workshop is filled with “how-to” instruction, grant writing proposal samples, and exercises that will help you through the process. Whether you are new to grant writing, or want to improve your skills, this workshop is for you!

After a brief overview of some of the basics, participants will practice preparing sections that appear in all proposals, including the Introduction, Agency Description, Needs Statement, and Program Description with Goals, Objectives and Evaluation for Outcomes. Preparing Program Budgets will also be covered. Participants will learn to research potential funders in government, foundations and corporations, and the importance of relationship-building to success in grantseeking.

Come with a program idea in mind to use in developing a proposal.  A Grantsmanship workbook will be provided to each participant.
